Watch live network TV anytime, for free.

One of the best sites for watching TV online is also one of the ugliest. See for yourself and I think you will agree on both counts.

JustTVNuts.com is a great place to find links to East Coast (GMT-5) feeds for major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, MTV, and many others. But they do it through an awkward and unfortunate web page—littered with links, notes, and other items. It reminds me of a Dr. Bronner’s soap bottle in website form. It takes a little getting used to, but still is an excellent source for live TV.

This site provides easily recognizable links for major broadcast and cable networks, which open up a video player embedded in the page. Be sure to wait about thirty seconds for the BoxNetLive feeds, identified by the bright blue arrow in the middle of the player which doesn’t react when clicked. Just be patient and the feed will begin shortly, or an error message will be displayed if the feed is down.

If you can find it, there’s also a pretty good TV guide on the site which you can use to see what’s on and forgo waiting for each channel to load to find out what’s on.

You may have to install or have installed flash, veetle, and/or other software to make the player work with your browser. I recommend the Mozilla Firefox browser with the AdBlock extension, which provides great ad and pop-up blocking. I hate to think what this site looks like without ad blocking.

There is also a chat application on JustTVNuts.com where the site moderators are highly active and will share links within the site for various content not available from the homepage. And they seem to redesign the site frequently by making minor adjustments. But the scattered and hectic layout seems to be a constant.

Regardless, it’s a useful site for watching major network programming over the Internet, and one that should be in your bookmarks.

Welcome to Cable Cutters. Let’s watch some TV online.

Cable TV is expensive and a luxury most can live without. But thanks to technology, we don’t have to. Here, we will show you the best places on the Internet to watch live TV, movies, TV series, sporting events, and more.

I have been saving a lot of money since I canceled my cable service a few years ago, yet I still remain fully entertained. I watch all the movies I want, I watch complete seasons of great TV shows I wouldn’t have known about, and I see all the major sporting events I want. And I do it all with my meager DSL Internet connection. I get about 60KB/s at best, but it is sufficient for most of my online TV watching.

For this first post, I’ll have you know I’m watching Monday Night Football right now. New York Giants vs. the Dallas Cowboys. See it here: atdhe.net (opens in new window)

Happy watching!
